Parts Replacement
If the AUS technician determines that a part is defective, a replacement part may be sent to you, at our expense. Call Technical Support at 1-888-322-4472, ext-1601 for parts replacement.

Returning Your System For Repair
If your system's problem cannot be resolved with a replacement part, the AUS technician may ask you to return the entire system to AUS.
When we receive your returned system, we will, at our option, either repair or replace any part or the entire system to restore the AUS to its proper working condition.

Instructions to upgrade from Vista Premium to Win7

Instruction to upgrade from Vista Home Premium Edition to Windows 7.

Locate the Vista Home Premium Edition installation media package provided with your A Unity System (AUS) computer.

Locate the Microsoft Offer Form in the Vista Home Premium Edition installation media package provided with your AUS computer.

Read the instructions on the offer Form in case the instructions have changed from these instructions.

Navigate to the Order Your Upgrade paged within the website given in the instructions. (Currently www.windows7upgradeoption.com)

Enter the Microsoft Offer Form Code from the offer Form and click the Submit button. For the Microsoft Offer Form Code entered, the website will display the Vista Home Premium Edition and platform (32-bit or 64-bit) for the AUS computer that shipped with that Offer Form.

To ensure you receive the proper product, please verify that your computer is AUS computer and begin the upgrading process.

If the displayed edition and platform is correct, click the This edition is correct button. Proceed to the next step.

From the Select Language drop-down list, choose the language of the Vista Home Premium Edition product to be upgraded.

If the correct language is displayed on the list, select it and then click the Order the Selected Upgrade button. Proceed to the next step.

If you have no additional Microsoft Offer Forms to add to this order, click the Proceed to Shipping Details button. If you have Microsoft Offer Forms for additional eligible computers, click the Enter Another Offer Form Code button and repeat steps 3-5 above.
Note that up to five Microsoft Offer Form Codes may be submitted for one shipping address and/or e-mail address per each visit to the website. No more than 25 Microsoft Offer Form Codes in total may be submitted for each shipping address and/or e-mail address.

On the Shipping Details page, use the Country drop-down list to select the shipment destination country.

Note that the shipping information fields will vary depending on the selected country.
Enter all required shipping information indicated with (*) and any optional fields as desired. When finished, click the Proceed to Order Review button.

On the Order Review page, verify the correctness of all information and then click the Submit Order button. You will have the option to click the Back to Shipping Details button to edit any previously provided information.

The Order Confirmation page will display your Order ID.

Print this page for your records as you will need the Order ID to check your order status on this website. An Order

Confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail account entered in the Shipping Details. It will include the Order ID, estimated shipment date, and other order information.
Prior to order processing, you can change your shipping address by navigating to the Track/Edit Your Order tab on this website.

Instructions: If you did not receive your free upgrade from Vista Home Premium Edition to Windows 7.

Not all computers are eligible for the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program. If you believe your computer is eligible and a Microsoft Offer Form should have been provided, please do the following:

Contact AUS at support@aunitysystem.com and provide: Name, e-mail address and telephone number.

AUS will contact you via e-mail or telephone on your validation eligibility.

After eligibility is validated, you will be provided the contact for the Program Team and request fulfillment.


Once the upgrade installation media is received, follow these instructions to upgrade:

1. Insert your Windows 7 DVD in the optical (CD/DVD) drive. Click Install Now option once you see the screen. If you have disabled autorun, open the root of the DVD drive (Windows 7 DVD) and run setup.exe file.

2. Once you run the setup, you will see two options:

* Check compatibility online

* Install Now

Click the Install Now button.

3. In the next screen, you will see two options:

* Go online to get the latest update for installation

* Do not get the latest updates for installation

If you have the latest version of Windows 7, then you need not to check for updates. You can select Do not check for updates if you wish to check for updates post upgrade process.

4. Accept the license agreement (I accept the license agreement) and click Next to continue the procedure.

5. In the next screen again you will see two options:

* Upgrade

* Custom


Here you need to select Upgrade option to upgrade from Vista Home Premium Edition to Windows 7. Click Next.

6. Windows will check for the compatibility and will generate the report. If Windows finds any compatibility problems, it will display the problem and will save the report to the desktop. If no incompatibilities are found, Windows 7 Setup will proceed without further interaction
